Valentine's Day Favorite Pick: Indulge in Rich and Creamy Baked Lobster Mac & Cheese - A Sumptuous Delight
Ingredients:
2 Lobster tails, cooked and chopped
2 ½ cups Cheddar Cheese freshly shredded and divided
½ cup Gruyere Cheese shredded
½ cup Parmesan Cheese grated
½ stick Butter
3 tablespoons Flour
2 cups Whole Milk
1 teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
½ teaspoon Mustard Powder
½ teaspoon Cajun Seasoning
Pepper to taste
½ pound Elbow Macaroni Pasta, cooked
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Heat a grill or grill pan at high. Add a bit of olive oil and grill the lobster tails (about 10 minutes, depending on the size). Set aside once cooked.
Cook the elbow macaroni according to the package directions.
Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the flour to the melted butter and stir until thickened, about 3 minutes.
Slowly whisk in the milk a little at a time. The slower you add the milk, the thicker the sauce will be.
Stir in cheddar cheese, Gruyere cheese, and Parmesan cheese into the sauce, keeping some of each for the top.
Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, mustard powder and Cajun to the sauce. Stir until combined.
Add the cooked macaroni noodles and lobster to the sauce and stir together.
Transfer to a 9×13-baking dish coated with cooking spray. Sprinkle the remaining cheeses on top and bake in the oven until golden and bubbling (about 20-25 minutes).
Serve and enjoy.
